Can You see GOD?    

I can see GOD in creation – all that exists – all that there is. 

 

The 2 Worldviews:  1.  There must have been a Designer.  (Creation)

                                2.  Just Happened – Boom!  Explosion of particles, then things Evolved.

                       

The 4 Big Questions: 1. Who Am I?  2. Where Did I Come From? 

                                         3. Why Am I Here?  4. Where Am I Going?

           

1.  Who am I?  (What am I worth?) 

Without God, we don’t know who we really are.  Because we receive our identity from our maker.  We receive our worth from our Maker. 

Every creation, even products’ value is determined by the maker. 

 

If we understood just a little of how awesome GOD is – and if we realized and understood that we are His creation – His product

– we would have a much higher self-esteem. 

 

GOD has created you – therefore you are a supreme product of the Supreme Maker!

           

2. Where I did I come from?

 

 “People don’t believe that they came from God simply because they don’t want to obey God.”

 

3. Why am I here?  

 

God created you for a reason.

 

“If you tell a lie long enough & loud enough, the people will believe it.”  - Adolf Hitler

 

“To believe a lie, it must be mixed with some truth.”  -Dr. Hovind

 

When we understand Who We Are –that we are a creation of GOD, we can understand Where We Came From-that GOD made us in our mother’s womb,

and Why We Are Alive- to bring glory to GOD, we can better understand where we are going.

 

4. Where am I going when I die?

 

By receiving God as your Creator and Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can be sure of where you are going when you die. 

 

Mark 10:6

 “But God's plan was seen from the beginning of creation, for 'He made them male and female.' NLT

 

Rom 8:21  “All creation anticipates the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay.”  NLT

 

No one is excused for not knowing about GOD! 

 

Rom 10:18

“The message of God's creation has gone out to everyone, and its words to all the world."   NLT

 

 

Can You see GOD?     I can see GOD.   I can see GOD in many things.

I can see GOD in a pregnant woman –

 

Ps 139:14

14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

        Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.’  NIV

 

Isaiah 43:7 & 21 says,  “The people that I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.”

 

(Cara, I’ll say: “I can see the devil in this next picture!  I don’t quite see God in it, but hey God did create ugly dogs too.”) 

 

Can You see GOD?     I can see GOD.   I can see GOD in many things.

I can see GOD in miracle stories

 

Heidi Baker responded with ‘With God, there’s always enough.’ They started to dish out food

– God multiplied the food and all the children and Heidi and Roland were fed!”

 

Can You see GOD?     I can see GOD.   I can see GOD in many things.

I can see GOD in Jesus Christ, His Son 

 

Paul said, Col 1:15-23 

15 “Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation.  

16 Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things

we can't see — kings, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities. Everything has been created through him and for him. 17 He existed

before everything else began, and he holds all creation together.”

18 “Christ is the head of the church, which is his body. He is the first of all who will rise from the dead, so he is first in everything.

19 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, 20 and by him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace

with everything in heaven and on earth by means of his blood on the cross. 21 This includes you who were once so far away

from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions, 22 yet now he has brought you back

as his friends. He has done this through his death on the cross in his own human body. As a result, he has brought you into the

very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. 23 But you must continue

to believe this truth and stand in it firmly. Don't drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News.

The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed by God to proclaim it.”  NLT

 

We can see GOD in many things: His Creation of the World, His Creation of Mankind, His miracles that defy nature. 

He created nature, yet He is still Supernatural!   Can YOU SEE GOD?
