Building The Church of Acts Pt. 1 & 2

Building the Church of Acts is:

1. Building a community of believers who believe and obey what Jesus Christ taught

2. Building a community of believers that live with the disciples’s mission and do what

             they did – advancing the church – and advancing the Kingdom of God.

The church is not just for us.  We are here for the world. 

Building the Church of Acts is being a community of believers obeying what Jesus Christ taught

and acting like the disciples did when they first started.

The Church of Acts:

a. communicates an atmosphere of transparency and honesty with a result of

             acceptance and love to everyone who enters. 

The Church of Acts:

b. lovingly warns people of the dangers and consequence of sin

The Church of Acts:

c. is not just a great idea, it’s the hope of the world. 

The Church of Acts:

d. is a safe, welcoming environment for seekers to put the pieces of the puzzle

together – for students to find GOD, it’s a place that let’s them know that God is  

               their Creator and He sent His Son Jesus to be their Savior. 

The Church of Acts:

e. is a place where people can experience the love of God in the power of the

Holy Spirit.  The church is a place where people can feel the love of God – in

               worship, in prayer, in teaching, etc.

The Church of Acts:

f.  is a place of Healing - where people are physically healed from sickness and

disease!  It’s also a place of emotional healing where people find that the

presence of God can heal their hearts of past wounds – tragic things that happened

    in their lives.
