Jan. 17th - Velocity will be changed - both Senior High & Jr. High will meet at church bc we're having a Missions Trip mtg. at 5pm for all teens interested in going to Mexico and their parents. We'll be answering all questions and concerns. This way, Parents don't have to come to ROG, drop their teen off at Fenn's then go to their Care Group, etc.

UNITE! (DATE is TBA - To Be Announced) Teens and Young Adults from all over NE Ohio and Western PA join us for one big event called UNITE. We begin at 7pm and we'd love to have YOU join us! CSM, start working on your Fine Arts presentation / talent now so it's excellent by the time you get to Fine Arts. There's a list of categories below in the MAY section. You'll have to present your first draft to me, Pastor Jordan, by April 4th at Velocity.

May 12 - FINE ARTS NIGHT - Students will minister using the talent/presentations they're going to do at FINE ARTS FESTIVAL. CSMers will give constructive criticism and feedback so they can improve if they need to before Fine Arts.

May 20-21 is FINE ARTS FESTIVAL so start working NOW on the talent you'd like to present at FINE ARTS so it's excellent. Fine Arts is a really cool event where about 1,500 teens from Ohio churches come together to discover, develop and demonstrate their God-given talents. There are so many categories! Here's a list of just some of the categories: precussion / drums, guitar solo, t-shirt design, digital photography, traditional photography, web design, brass solo, visual art, short sermon, puppetry, worship team, christian band, rap group, spanish female vocal solo, voal solos, vocal ensembles, etc. drama, human video, and MORE! Everyone MUST present what they're going to do to Pastor Jordan at VELOCITY Care Group on April 4th or May 2nd.
CSM will host a FINE ARTS Night May 12th where FINE ARTS Students will minister using the talent/presentations they're going to do at FINE ARTS.

June 28 - July 3 -SENIOR HIGH CAMP at HCRC - presented by OYM - Ohio Student Ministries. Join 500 other teens for 5 days of intense games and fun competition, impacting worship and services and great memories with your CSM friends. As usual, it's only $150. for CSMers to go because CSM is paying for $65. of your registration!

July 12-16 - Junior High Camp & Camp X - Camp X has distinctive courses you can take throughout the week like "Discipleship" "Full-Time Ministry" if you're feeling called into ministry, "Missions" if you're feeling called into Missions and even "SPORTS" if you LOVE SPORTS! Dec. 12 - Rock of Grace Christmas Banquet presented by CSM! At 6:30pm you can join everyone at church for a great night of great food from Aluzio's catering, great entertainment, and great fellowship. CSM'ers, be sure to get your parents here! Any proceeds go towards CSM which makes events cheaper for you. Tickets will be sold 1 month prior in the foyer at ROG on Wed.s and Sun.s. You MUST HAVE A TICKET TO COME - No tickets will be able to be purchased at the Banquet. CSM teens, if you'd like to help, you must contact Pastor Jordan by Nov. 8th and be at the Nov. 8th Leadership Mtg as we'll discuss how it all works and assign our roles. CSM Leaders and those helping: You'll stay after church on Dec. 12th to eat, party and set up the room for the banquet. We're usually done around 4pm if you wanted to go home for an hour, but be back by 5pm to help bring in food and start working.
Dec. 15 - CSM Christmas Party at our regular CSM Wed. Night Service - Bring a "white elephant" gift $7. and under. So it could be "good" and it could be....welll...not so good =)
